Due to the limited space in the newly remodeled house we bought, we could not use our existing French Door refrigerator. So we went shopping for something that would work.
The 33" wide with the bottom-freezer fits perfectly in the space & fits our needs perfectly.
The technicians changed the door to swing right to left & made it handy for the kitchen work space. So very please with our purchase.

It is way different looking at a product in the store and vs using it. So let me start, freezer way to small, already have the fridge part set to 7 (The coldest setting you can have) because stuff cant stay cool. I dont think is so much an issue with Whirlpool is that the opening for the fridge is so huge that every time someone opens the door all the cold just leaves? I dont know all I know is I went back to Lowes and picked another non Whirlpool product

Had a 6 year old Samsung side by side that had to have work on and it still needed either a new fan or a new board (Samsung said no testing to figure out which), so I started researching a new fridge with no bells but had one whistle (ice maker). Having an ice maker in the door is a convenience but also increases the chances of something going wrong such as my Samsung so looked for a plain ole icemaker in freezer and after reading other reviews on freezer in the bottom I thought I would try this refrigerator. My whole family appreciates this refrigerator and we are getting used to the freezer in the bottom. Icemaker is working great and only issue would be accidently dropping ice and landing on the floor. For myself I know it happens but hubby does not always pay attention so I am sure there will come a time of melting ice being stepped in. Capacity is less than what I had with the Samsung but it has more room because of the one door and adjustable shelves. Door capacity only increased the open space on shelves. Chose the Stainless Black to match the stove and microwave and even though they are a different brand everything matches good even the handles. Overall very happy with our new purchase.

I recently purchased this refrigerator and had an identical one eight years ago. Hope this one last longer. Loved it then but the door on the new one is so heavy it does not close in its own. Other than that fine. Wish Whirlpool offered the option of an ice maker asI don't want it.

We have been using the refrigerator for one week and really love it!!! We chose it because we have had good luck with Whirlpool appliances and it fit the space perfectly. It is quiet and keeps everything perfect! We did not get the ice maker since we did not have water near the refrigerator problem is the design of the ice area. Not really designed for holding water in ice cube trays. Need to be very gentle with closing the door until it freezes

We bought this fridge and in 10 months theCompressor went.In the meantime over $300 worth of groceries went bad. Had a service call service man came and said whirlpool should replace refrigerator called Whirlpool they can't do any replacing. And just advised me to purchase the extended warranty. now I'm out the fridge for who knows how long because the parts need to be ordered and Fridge needs to be brought back to the repair shop Nothing but disappointed with Whirlpools customer service. The lady was friendly enough but I think I can do a little bit more to help out the situation

I really like the bottom freezer on this economical fridge. The ice comes out in smaller half moons than my fridge in the kitchen. The black SS is very easy to clean and matches perfectly with the other BLK SS appliances from Whirlpool that I have. Basic fridge that looks nice and has a cool bottom freezer.

I just received it last Friday July 18 n it would not get cold! Martins came out on Monday July 22 n fixed it! From the manufacturer it had a pin hole in the freon line ! All is wonderful now!
