I purchased this dryer along with the matching washer about 3 weeks ago. It was super simple to learn the settings. When it is loaded, the display shows how long it should take the clothes to dry, based on the setting you selected and the amount of moisture in the items. However, I have yet to have it near the estimated time. Recently, the load was dry and the dryer stopped about 45 minutes before it had estimated. Also, several times it counted down to one minute but kept running for another 20 or 30 minutes. The extras are only good if they work.

I bought this set May 2019. soon the normal cycle only showed 2 minutes and would not change. Lowes traded dryer for another in June 2019 it worked fine on all cycles until August 2019(I also purchased 5 year warranty from Lowes.) But first year now Maytag handles repairs...wrong they sent out Gwinco a service co with no office in Oklahoma City. The tech Robert used his computer to reset and told me I would be charged next visit if this happened again>but I should flip breaker to reset. It did in Oct. 2019 when I called Maytag they said the only tech in my area code Okla City is Gwinco..I told them what tech told me and lady with Maytag appologised but that was all she could do!!!!!He wrote on his report dryer was working no bad codes!!!!! So think twice before you buy Maytag with this service they have!!!!!

Takes too long to wash and dry

To wash a normal load in this machine it take 1 hour and 36 mins. and to dry that normal load it takes 1 hour and 29 mins. There is nothing energy saving about that. I went form a 12 year old front loader where it took for the largest load 45 mins. and to dry 30 mins. I'd rather use an old wash tub and clothes line. It would take as long to do laundry. Don't buy this model of washer and dryer it takes way to long to use.

This dryer has cut my laundry time in half! What used to take me all day is down to half a day or less with this new dryer (on Saturday). Clothes don't dry

Doesn't get clothes completely dry. Put the dryer cycle back on and the sensor thinks their dry and shuts off after two minutes. So you have to put them on timed dry. Might as well have bought the dryer that only has a timed cycle for half the price. This has happened on three different loads now with different types of clothing

No more dry cleaner! I keep the door of the washer open for a bit after to use to let dry because the seals can get moisture built up and cause mold. I've never had this problem but there is a cleaning cycle to prevent it also. I paid extra for the beautiful dark gray and love it! I'm so happy we purchased these!

I love, love, love this Maytag dryer. I have it stacked with my Maytag washer in my laundry area. I just moved from my home that had a large laundry area. I am so happy that my new appliances stack so that I can maximize my smaller laundry area now. This stackable set has allowed me to even have a pantry area in my smaller space. This dryer dries my clothes so well, in less time than my previous dryer. Thrilled that this stackable set allows me to maximize my space!!

It's so quiet!

I love this dryer. My favorite thing about it besides getting the clothes dry quickly is how quiet it is! Even with the laundry room door open, there is not a noticeable noise. Such a change from my last dryer.

Very Quiet

Pros: Very quite machine, vent easy to clean out, many selections for drying, attractive. Cons: If you lean against machine you can accidentally turn it off & won't even know it. It times the load itself but sometimes the clothes are still wet. I have not found a way to set a timer to know when a load is finished (will have chance to read manual this weekend; hopefully there is one). I hope it lasts as long as my last one which was over 15 years, & I do laundry almost everyday.
