Just like the other reviews... the dough ends up inside the blade, down the shaft, and inside the machine itself. What dough stays in the bowl does get mixed
Well but cleaning up the blade, inside of shaft, and down inthe machine is terrible!!

Brought the 1333 processor used (Amazon) was missing parts but had the dough blade ... it doesn't lock to the bowl, has no hole for an adapter ... reading the reviews seems a consensus that something is wrong. I like to know straight out, does the blade lock and to what? Looking at the inside compared to the other blades is missing parts. Also I see that the designer never had to clean the top. So far the rest of the unit (processor) even used I'm happy with.

Bread book for food processors

Try Best Bread Ever by Van Over. Makes bread in the KA food processor with regular metal blade. Special instructions for flour and water temps for Kitchen Aid food processors. So easy and quick, no hand kneading and bread is awesome. Never used dough blade.

Huge disappointment

Bought the KIchenaid food processor with the hope of making east dough with less hassle and use of handpower. Asked specificly at the retailer if it was ok to use the machine for that. Ended up with half done dough everywhere - inside the blade, the tube that fixes the main container to the base and from there the dough even latched on to the base. What happens is that the blade rises upwards because the dough gets thicker and there's no failsafe system to stop the dough from escaping the container. In my case the machine ended up sending funny smell-signals and stopping. I wouldn't be surprised if its broken. :(

Terrible accessory

We find that the dough blade eats the dough. The dough ends up all inside of the dough blade making it extremely messy & difficult to clean, not to mention the difficulty of cleaning around the kitchenAid shaft.
