Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

The internal part of the blade became disconnected and will not reconnect, so the blade is no longer of use. This seems to be a design flaw. Other than the blade breaking, I was mostly satisfied with the product. I like the large work bowl, and the slicer and grater work well. Disappointed that the blade broke.

Multi-Purpose Blade Broke/Stripped

Dave From Calgary 10/28/2019

I came to the KitchenAid website to look for a new multi-purpose blade, and was interested to see 74 other negative reviews from customers with the same problem we have had. The food processor works great, but the multi-purpose blade has an internal weakness that causes it to snap along the axis of rotation. Basically the food processor motor spins fine, but the blade is not spinning with it and as a result does not chop anything. I don't feel like we should have to pay $40 for a replacement blade after spending >$200 for the product initially, although I can't do that anyway because KitchenAid is out of stock!

Disappointing

Gabriela Arroyo 5/18/2019

I bought this for the high quality known of Kitchen Aid products and got totally disappointed with the real quality. I use it no more than twice a month and the blade broken with regular use... I live in Brasil and the price I paid for the product is already expensive, and what they ask only for the blade is impossible (specially thinking about the quality it has shown)...

KFP13BL Blade broken/stripped internally.

Lisa58473 5/8/2019

We are loyal KitchenAid purchasers. Until now we've been very happy with the quality and performance. Our stand mixer purchased way back in 1986 still runs great! This processor blade....that's another story. We love the KFP1333 processor and have had no problems until now. It's a few years old, out-of-warranty for sure. We don't use it very often, maybe once a month, much less than my stand mixer for sure, so to have the blade break/strip inside was very surprising. I decided to purchase a replacement blade as we like the processor and it works great with the exception of this blade. However, after reading all these terrible reviews I don't feel that is going to be a wise purchase. Not sure what to do. Does anyone know if the replacement blade will have a warranty?

Poor Quality

Kaydee1011 4/27/2019

I was very excited when my husband bought my Kitchenaid food processor. I don't use one often (maybe 6-9 times a year), but it's really handy to have. After about 6 uses, the multi purpose blade stopped working. I have no problem using the small blade with the small bowl, or the pastry blade. I have never tried the slicer/shredder blade. I was going to buy a replacement blades, but after seeing all of the negative reviews, I will be buying a new food processor instead.

Broken Blade

Jasmine12 3/10/2019

This is my first complaint about any of my Kitchen Aid appliances. Generally excellent quality and durability, however this blade broke with light use. Very disappointing as I feel my large bowl is useless now and I can't seem to find a replacement! Not sure what to do. Don't want to have to buy a new food processor as this one was an investment for me.

Wow! I am surprised to read all the negative comments about this blade! I own many KitchenAid products and I am very happy with all of them! I am using my food processor almost every day to make all kinds of things and I have absolutely no problems with any of the parts. I am ordering an extra blade today just to have on hand.

I have use this blade a total of 3 times and it stopped working. Upon looking at yhe blade the threading is actually stripped and broken and it has come apart fully from the blad itself. I can buy another processor for the price of a replacement blade. Especially if it is going to break alk over again.

Chocolate1512 7/27/2018

My multi-purpose blade broke at the top of the shaft. Made it useless. This was the LEAST used of my blades. After reading these reviews, I contacted Kitchenaide directly and was told that they could not help me. I think that I will spend my money elsewhere.

I bought this product because I love my mixer and thought that "well my mixer is awesome quality built why wouldn't their Processer"? Well I was making dip! And the blade quit from dip. Thought that it was maybe a fluke, but after reading these reviews I guess it's just junk. Think I'll look for another processer verses spending the money on a new blade.

Blade fell off after mild use

bladefelloff 11/27/2017

One of the blades fell off of mine. I use mine at most once a month and almost exclusively use this food processor to make salsas or other vegetable-based sauces, so was very disappointed that this was enough to break of a blade. Other than that I am a fan of my KitchenAid food processor but it's now useless without this blade.

So Disappointed in Quality of this Blade :(

Disappointed in Baker 11/6/2017

I have used my Kitchen-Aid 13 cup food processor happily since getting it as gift last Christmas. So very disappointed when I recently went to use the large multipurpose blade and it stopped working. After removing it with difficulty, I found the inside shaft had actually split and broken right off :( I thought perhaps my blade was just defective, but after reading all of these reviews, I see the product is just poorly made! So disappointed :( I don't want to spend more money for a replacement blade now, thinking that too will break!

Be cautious - 13-cup has strong motor

7/9/2017

Have the 13cup KitchenAid Food Processor and was using the big multi-purpose blade to mix ingredients for sausage balls (1lb sausage, cheese, etc) to take on vacation. Everything was running smoothly until it stopped churning. Investigating, the blade would not detach. After struggling, I finally got it detached, could not see anything obvious that was wrong. Re-attached and continued but still did not work properly. Again it would not detach but when it did now see the issue. The motor apparently reamed out the blade shaft and no longer seats. Therefore the blade it shot which is crippling. :( We have many other KitchenAid products and enjoy them.

Multi blade didn't last long

6/10/2017

I received this as a gift and I was really excited about the features. After a few uses, the multipurpose blade broke. I am bummed that you he blade didn't not last but a few uses. :( the other issue is the top lid collected dirty dish water and drowns inside where you can't get to clean. It is clear plastic so it is ugly. If I had known this mught be an issue, I would've washed differently to try to avoid this. That is less of a concern than the blade already not working.

We have had this for about year. The food processor(KPF1333asc) was given to us as a gift along with the blade accessories. We just began using the multipurpose blade and it broke after two uses. I was shocked at how bad the quality was. I have always had great experi nceneith kitchinaid products before.

A good asset but...

3/31/2017

The kitchenaid good processor is a very good appliance that helps make meal preparations a lot easier but it pains me a lot that the multipurpose blade which is most often needed is rusted and the adaptor for same cracked while the appliance is still fairly new. It sits idle most often because it's not too helpful to me without the blade. I am not sure if I would recommend this to someone. Painful

You pay alot for this product and after a few uses it breaks

3/22/2017

I do not use this blade to often because I end up cutting myself on the blade when I pull it out when finished. I just wanted to make ham & pickle. 1 pc of ham a small chunk and it wouldn't turn. I pulled out the ham and tried it without and it spun around. I put the ham back in and it spun a few times and stopped. My daughter took the blade out of the bowl and it came out in pcs? I am so upset that this blade is broken. Why aren't they made stronger? This is a defective part it seems everyone is having the same problem.

Rust everywhere!

1/22/2017

Almost every small electric in my kitchen is a beloved KitchenAid, and I've never had something like this happen before: my food processor's "multipurpose blade" stopped moving. I was only trying to make bread crumbs from fresh bread! I could hear the machine going, but the blade was just vibrating in place. After trying several machinations, I tugged--the blade came off leaving a plastic piece attached to the bowl and 2 rusted metal parts on the floor (then in my basset's mouth!). Whenever I've needed a part (such as a coffee carafe broken during a move), I've been able to get that replacement with no problem. That has not been my experience this time. Sounds like I'll be buying a new food processor...and it won't be KitchenAid for the first time in my 14 years of married life. :-(

Multi purpose blade is so stuck in my bowl won't spin,

1/3/2017

My multipurpose blade gets so stuck in the bowl and is to difficult to remove it. I have the 13 cup food processor, and used it once a week to make chicken salad. When often times after several hours of trying and finally successfully pulling the blade out, the food left in the bowl flies everywhere. Now it is a paperweight. I am hesitant to invest money in a new blade. This is not a machine that was over used or abused. Just to grind chicken breasts and twice, hummus. I can't even give this thing away. My husband and I are both disabled and this was supposed to make things easier, instead it is a nightmare.

Blade won't spin

12/28/2016

I use my food processor a few times per month. And my main blade will not spin any more. Took it apart and found that the plastic had melted and will not hold on to the spinning hub. Pretty disappointed. Should be made with steel parts instead of plastic.

Broken Blade

12/15/2016

I was surprised that the main blade broke within the first 3 months of use. We've tried to use it still with just one blade, but it makes the food processor jump all over the place with unbalanced vibrations. We're very dissatisfied, but they won't take it back.

Blade not working as expected

11/18/2016

My blade also seem to not connect with the shaft without any apparent reason. I think I have used this only a couple times with no reason for it to break. I agree with previous reviewers that this seems to be a design flaw. The blade became slow and stopped turning in a matter of minutes.

Looking for Mr. Good-blade

9/26/2016

I have purchased three Kitchen Aid 14C food processors and two of the three multi-purpose blades are of no use at all, because the internal stem has come disconnected and there is no way to fix it! The bases all work, but I am constantly running around, looking for the one remaining blade that is whole! Trying to make hummus or bread crumbs in the small bowl is messy and time consuming .... do I order new blades or continue to get a work-out, looking for Mr. Good-blade?

Going online to find a new multipurpose blade because mine fell apart internally. Looking at the replacement price :( and thinking I have no other choice. But, after reading several ratings I see I'm not alone. Now I'm unsure if I should order another. I still have to find the replacement for the adapter which cracked when the blade fell apart. Still pondering...

multipurpose blade

8/28/2016

I have always owned kitchenaid products. Immersion blender, blender, mixer and food processor. The multipurpose blade on the food processor definitely has a design flaw. My blade just spins inside the bowl because there is a plastic stem that has stripped and just keeps spinning. I was merely pureeing soup!!!! You have to replace the entire blade and not just the defective stem.. Very troubling. I would not recommend this processor.

Broke after several uses

8/13/2016

While I am otherwise very satisfied with the food processor, it is very frustrating that the only large blade that fits in the main working bowl breaks after just a dozen uses, rendering the large bowl useless. It appears as though there is a major design flaw as so many people have had to reorder this particular blade, at a steep price no less. Very disappointed.

blade broke after a dozen uses

8/7/2016

I really like KitchenAid, and when I needed a food processor, that's where I went to get one. This one worked great, while it worked. I had only used the big multipurpose blade maybe a dozen times when hummus was apparently too much to handle. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong, but I'd always hand washed the blade and wasn't sure how it could fall apart. I came here to reorder the blade to make salsa, after having the processor take up valuable counter real estate, collecting dust... It's so disappointing. I was hoping to have some kitchen help, not a hassle.

Blade broke after using less than a dozen times!

7/7/2016

I am not sure what the problem is with the main (multi-purpose) blade, especially when it broke after I was making salsa. REALLY? My husband bought this for me for Christmas and it has now become a decorative piece on the counter since we can no longer use it. After reading the other reviews I am very hesitant to purchase another blade knowing it will likely break again. Very disappointed in the quality of this product!

Yup, another broken one

7/1/2016

I purchased a new 13 cup food processor in February. After fewer than a dozen uses (maybe 1-2 times a month), this blade no longer locks. There's a ring or something broken in the inside. It just moves up and down the blade shaft, so things just sit on the bottom of the bowl. I have had this for less than a year but I don't have the receipt so I don't know if I can even get a replacement.

Broke after a handful of uses!

4/20/2016

The blade is obviously necessary - but it cracked down the sides and I have only owned it for one month! not even a month..I was blending black beans for petes sake! I use it every week and love the processor - c'mon KitchenAid you couldn't have made a better blade!! People pay top dollar for your products and this is the quality?! To be clear, I have only used the larger blade in my 11 cup processor, not the smaller one in my 3 cup insert..yet.

Blade shaft cracks after use

3/10/2016

I'm a 4th generation Kitchen Aid owner. I've had my mixer 30 years. The 13 cup newer processor: nothing but problems with the main blade. Finally realised the inner shaft piece was cracked. After reading all these reviews, I, too, can't decide if it's worth spending $40 on a new blade. I'm not sure who currently owns Kit Aid nor where they are made, but there are quality issues in their processors.

very disappointed

2/14/2016

My mom has had a kitchenaid mixer for at least 40 years. I love mine too, but this food processor is just horrible, I had the same issue with the blade as everyone else, and I probably haven't used it a dozen times, mostly for making tomato sauce. Also, very poorly designed, difficult to get clean, (not everyone owns a dishwasher), getting the top on and off requires enormous strength. I would rather purchase another whole machine than waste $40 on replacing the blade. I won't buy kitchenaid anything again.

Broken

2/14/2016

I've had my food processor for quite a while (maybe 4 years) but use it infrequently (a few times per year). The blade stopped moving during use the other day and when I looked more closely I found the shaft had fallen apart. I was looking to buy a replacement but I'm quite hesitant after reading the reviews. I'm worried it will just break again

broken blade

Drive adapter broke after very few uses, very disappointing considering the cost of the unit. I'm quite happy with kitchenaid mixer though.

Horrible!! Very Disappointed for it being KitchenAid

2/6/2016

I just bought this Food Processor on January 23, 2016. Was trying to chop up some cheese very fine and the blade wouldn't move so I took the top off to find pieces all over inside. This was the first time that I even got to use it and it broke on me! I have other KitchenAid products that I use all the time and love but I am very disappointed in this purchase as is my husband because he got it for me as a gift. If KitchenAid continues to make products that break the first time you use them, I will never buy another one of their products.

Broken Blade After Little Use

2/5/2016

I've maybe used this particular blade a dozen times. Judging by the other reviews I see here, I'm not the only one whose blade broke in the exact some way after only a few uses. This doesn't inspire me to continue purchasing KitchenAid products.

sadly disappointed with KitchenAid

2/2/2016

I have owned my food processor for a little while and I was constantly having issues with the blade becoming stuck on the drive shaft. I thought it was just my unit. The last time it became so stuck that when my husband was finally able to release it, I found that it was now damaged. When I go to use the processor, the blade just travels up and down the drive shaft and is unable to perform any functions. Now I have to make the decision to replace the blade or just replace the entire unit.
